About

You are not your diagnosis, And neither was I!

For 27 years, I have lived with a diagnosis of epilepsy.

I know what it feels like when a condition begins to shape how others see you —
and how you begin to see yourself.

A condition that is invisible to those around you until a seizure that causes a physical injury...and there have been many of them over the years!

I know the caution; the unpredictability; the unspoken limitations. The fear of another seizure, which can be exhausting, becomes part of your day to day life.

The quiet grief of feeling smaller than you once were. Your sense of normal shifts completely into a kind of isolation that few understand.

And......I also know something else.

A diagnosis may explain a condition.
But it does not define the edges of a life.

The Turning Point

For many years, I tried to manage symptoms but, what truly changed my life was not control, it was understanding my nervous system.

When I discovered the Buteyko Breathing approach, I began to see my body differently — not as fragile, not as defective, but as protective.

My nervous system was not broken it was doing its best to keep me safe.

When I learned how to support it instead of fear it, something shifted.

Steadily, gently, my capacity expanded. Not overnight, not perfectly but....consistently.

And with that expansion came something deeper than symptom relief:

I stopped seeing myself as limited.

Why I do this work

I now work with adults 40+ living with chronic health challenges, not just Epilepsy, who feel mentally restricted by their diagnosis.

People who are capable, intelligent, resilient. People who are quietly organising their lives around fear of flare-ups, setbacks, or decline.

People who want more.

Not reckless change, not miracle cures, but Steadiness...Trust...and...

Room to breathe again.

Discover the divinity of your own body...

My Approach

My work blends:

• Nervous system education
• The Buteyko breathing method
• Identity restoration
• Gentle capacity expansion
• Deep respect for the body’s intelligence

This is not about fighting your condition.

It is about rebuilding trust in your body.

It is about living beyond your diagnosis and no longer shrinking from it.

What I believe

I believe:

• You are not broken.
• You are more than your diagnosis.
• Your nervous system can learn safety again.
• Strength does not need to be loud to be real.

And.....I believe that reclaiming your life happens one regulated step at a time.

A Gentle Invitation

If you are ready to explore what is possible beyond the boundaries you’ve accepted…

I would be honoured to walk alongside you. Let's have a conversation.
